Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum so bear with me. I was thinking about becoming a patient at Quintiles in Overland Park, KS. My question is: how do they drug test?
My friend said they did it by blood test, not urine. This would be good for me, as I've only been clean for 24 days. This would enable me to easily pass a blood test, but probably fail a urine test. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks for your help.

It depends on what drugs you do.

It would be in your best interest to wait until you are fully clean. You probably do studies like the majority of us because this is our main source of income. Why mess up a possible income source and get banned from a place? Wait it out until you are clean.

call and ask about a screening for at least a week from now.a typical screening involved both urine and blood, and ekg, medical history etc. but i dont know which tests they run on which.

Quintiles is a waste of time,in my opinion. Like WWCT and Northwest Kinetics, they overrecruit, big time. They also are more strict on veins. I will not be going back to Kansas.

Yeah I had the same experience there, I traveled a very long way for a high paying study but got relegated to a smaller study that probably barely payed my expenses; they whined about my veins also, and I also saw how many people they herded in for each study.
I guess it's real convenient for them when they can be really fussy and tell half the people who show up for screening that they can go take a hike.
