So why do clinics already start slowing down by the time November hits? Right, I know it's the Holidays coming up. But that doesn't stop the world from living. They don't have anyone working on Thanksgiving or Christmas? Or are there more reasons why... do they readjust for the new year with newer studies? Do you find this lasts until February or do things begin picking up as soon as January hits?

I feel like it slows down too. It doesn't come to a complete stop, but its definitely slim pickins.

Nice, emphasis on the "stomoch" seems to be the consensus here. though i don't mind the food much...could be healthier for one...my problem is sleeping well at this place... but that's just me not much the clinics fault. And it also bugs me how with the longer stays it doen'st stay at a constant $250 or higher rate...for example this one goes to $236 a night...splitting hairs i know, but if i'm gonna stay that long here i'd prefer little higher per night rate...if anyone one of those fine folks that run are listening!

Hey thanks leopold. Yeah, I regularly check the studies. It's good they keep it updated. Unfortunately I'm caught in a pickle. I have a class that ends first week of December, but then we have to be back one last time on the 13th. So I have to work around that. It's going to be difficult. I just want to be prepared. I tried Frontage but they said they only had a study that was 2 over nights 4 times for $1700. Then there were outpatients I believe. They had these nice 3-4 overnight studies last month that I missed out on for $750. Wish I could find soing like that. In any case, I wish more would chip on their understanding of the end-of-year slowdown.

In all likelihood they slow down because there are fewer worker bees everywhere. Also, fewer participants as a segment of them do attend holiday gatherings, making it harder to fill the studies.
Yes, I pulled all that outta my ***, but I think it makes sense.

You would think there would be MORE since college students like ME are broke and off for an entire month during this time of year.

The thread went off-topic because there's nothing to say about the topic. The slowdown is due to the holiday season. You're right; my mistake. It is a crappy time right now. Even temporary labor help has shut down. Wouldn't it be nice not to have to worry about money all the time?
