Covance in Madison says someone brought in Bed Bugs last year and it took 'forever' to get rid of them. So now they won't allow anyone to bring in pillows or blankets anymore. And if you try, they will hold them in storage until check out. Don't you just LOVE IT when ONE PERSON ruins it for ALL OF US?

Don't let the bedbugs bite.

Bummer, pretty stupid rule i'd say since bedbugs can easily get in luggage/backpacks and clothes being brought in and pillows can be inspected for bed bugs faster than looking through luggage. Why not grab a beagle they use across the street for testing to sniff out everyone coming in for bugs.
I know has seen some cold nights with the polar vortex and all, I just hope covance is warmer or at least provides some decent blankets that aren't just "glorified sheets"!

Last time I was there they were indeed Glorified Sheets. That's a good one!
And its ALWAYS cold at Covance.
Poor beagle!

Last time I was at Covance, my roomie brought the nastiest comforter. Reeked of B.O. & too big to fit in the washer. One of the nurses caught a whiff on ECG day & confiscated it!
Covance blankets are thin, but putting one under your fitted sheet helps. Also, rolling a blanket up & putting it on the window will block a lot of the polar air from seeping in.

I have been informed that Covance got some new snazzy fleece blankets which should be just as comfortable as anything you could bring.
