I have an overnight flight the night before a study and was, as usual, intending to take 10 mg (one tablet) of to help me get to sleep. Does anybody know whether clinics habitually test for as part of their urine-based drug screening? I know they look for opioids, cocaine and so on.

i have a friend who regularly takes a prescription sleeping pill each night. she didn't think it would show up and screened and ended up being blacklisted from OCRC (clinic in FL) for a year.
i don't know what the exact drug was that she was taking. if i were you, however, i would not risk it..... just my opinion, of course.
best wishes!

I'm pretty sure would show up...but i'm not sure on the half life...more info on the interwebs on that.
I take a supplement called "sleep sheets"...thin strips that dissolve on your tongue. They are super easy to carry around are natural (melatonin valerian and soing else) cheap 8.99 for a pack of 10 and put me to sleep everytime i've taken one. I took one very close to testing and got through...though still not a good practice to get in the habit of.

On another note (just out of curiosity) how would a anti-deppresant play out for testing? SIs or welbutrin (which i believe is not SI)

i was kept out of a medpace study once for a false positive for (which i've never used - from what i've seen it turns people into zombies.) i am at medpace again now, don't know yet if i'll dose in the morning but at least they let me check in this time.
