Anytime I refer a newbie to a study, I always coach them ahead of time on how to answer the questions. Even after I coached him, my cousin thought it okay to tell them he 'sometimes' takes ibuprofen for back pain. That small thing ruled him out and they told him to see his own doctor. Lesson is... you tell the truth... you probably won't make it.

To answer your questions probably a lot. Unfortunately your last statement is generally correct. Yeah you admit to one Advil 13 days before dose and you get eliminated while they take in multiple people that diegard any of the restrictions but what can they do...test for otc's and sevile orange consumption?! I understand the importance of restriction i just wish they would be more reasonable about it instead always error on the very far side of cation. Though *****ing to the staff wont help..the IRB or sponsors (ie drug companies) are the ones to make any changes on this.
