I have only done one study before an estrogen study. I have passed a computer test and a phone interview and go next week to see about getting into a migraine study. It seems one must really choose their words carefully to get in. The study involves a new treatment that is a shot once a month that prevents migraines.
I have already figured I cannot mention controlled high blood pressure and it is very much under control. The computer passed my answer of using Lunesta to sleep. The Fiorcet is OK ( a migraine drug) dare I mention I use Thyroid medication or just skip that? I am not sure what else they will ask about.
Any guidance here would be appreciated CGRP antibody

Are you a paid informer? An agent provocateur? Are you Paul who gets paid for advertising by the drug companies?

None of the above. Just a complete newby that came looking for answers. I had hoped to find some help but guess I am on my own on this. All I really want to do is A-make some cash and B-feel better. All my research did not turn up an answer so never mind. I obviously dont know the under ground rules here.

ignore that guy.
sounds like you are doing a patient study, we mostly do healthy studies, so we don't know how your study will work.

I have decided not to participate. Hiding controlled hypertension is nothing to play with especially when this shot stays in your system a month. Thanks for reading.

do you live in or near a city? if so, there are probably less invasive studies you can do on an outpatient basis.
lots of big city hospitals and universities conduct small studies and for some of them you just go there and do stuff on their computers such as cognitive tests.
also there are clinics that do a lot of testing of ointments (for back pain etc), creams for athlete's foot, cosmetics, etc., etc.
you may have to do a bit of searching online and of course the money is MUCH less, but these small studies are useful for taking care of small expenses and extras.
for cosmetic testing, there is a good facility in fairfield NJ and another near st. augustine, FL. (of course, there are MANY, these just happen to be 2 that i know about.)

Yes, I am near a city and not too far from a big city that I can get to in not much time actually have a cousin that lives there if an overnight was required. I do have some knee arthritis and wouldn't mind the trial for that 2 out of 3 get really great injections once, it is single blind and with my activity level at gym would be welcome.
Thank you so much for your friendliness, suggestions, and helpfulness. It is much appreciated.
