I've just completed a 2-weekend stay at Pharma Medica. Some things haven't changed and some things have. Accommodations are pretty much the same; the bunk room on the first night of the second weekend was very warm and difficult to sleep in as a result. The bathrooms are still kept locked for the most part as well. One notable change is the policy on return visits. Depending on the study, you sometimes had a 1-hour window for returns in that you could show up for a return either 1 hour early or 1 hour later than your scheduled draw. Now subjects are required to show up exactly on the minute for their return draws and advised to come 5-10 minutes early to allow for the check-in for returns. Also, an employee informed us that the influx of available studies has been "eerily slow" as of late. However, there's a possibility of the availability of a study or studies in late November or early December. I did 4 studies in 2014, 3 in 2015 and 2 so far this year.
it sounds like you are just, or mostly, going to pharma-medica. i go there a lot, but it's kind of bottom of the barrel. try any of the others in that part of the country - covance, spaulding, , biopharma vince etc.
