They always ask for 2 barrier ods for birth control.Sometimes hormones or no hormones. I usually say condoms with spermicide and seems more places arent accepting that. They want you to be on that and soing else. So trying to figure out the next best thing to say that will get accepted most of the time? Like telling them the patch? pills? i even told them the cup and condoms with spermicide and they said that wasnt enough. But its worked for other studies. Thanks Any one that can help. Just tired of getting turned down.

For once in life I can laugh about a female actually being turned down for sex! (I actually had a worse but more clever joke...and an actual answer that would work for women, and for men too I guess, but this is a family board and I will keep that one to myself! ) Most places I speak with seem happy with the condoms are spermicide, so I'm not sure what to say. I also seem to recall some of them actually offering suggestions...it seemed much easier than stories Ive read on here. Of course I was honest with what I told them, which helps. Best wishes, and I'm guessing this will get many replies(well, in terms of what manu means on here, but it should be more than sufficient).

A little about me: I am just getting started in clinical trials . Became unemployed and was doing small outpatient studies until someone told me about Covance and it has ed up a new world of making money.
So I am trying to do more inpatient studies and am hoping to do even more next year.

I have found saying that your partner has had a vasectomy seems to work at some clinics. I am post menopausal so don't have that issue but I usually pipe in that my partner has had a vasectomy for added "protection" . Google luck
