So you might be using it for mild to moderate depression, is that so bad? It turns out that St.John's Wort(SJW) causes drugs to clear to quickly out of the body, reducing the amount in your systems by up to 25%. Many studies involves seeing how the drug clears out of the body, pharmokinetics. SJW is so effective in reducing the level of meds in the body that women have been known to get pregnant while on the pill. Think of side effects of not having enough antibiotics in your system to fight off a bug because of SJW. Now you know!

Some of the hype on here is overdone, but this one is actually true! You can check to see what enzymes work on your drugs, but here is an article on it, as well as echinacea having similar effects : www.news-medical.net/news/2006/04/11/17258.aspx ...
If you want a valuable secret, this can actually HELP you in some cases if you know what you're doing. If you understand what I'm talking about, and/or appreciate the article, feel free to click the thumbs up, so I know whether to bother to ue to share such things with you. Kudos to the OP for turning straight, at least for this thread. EDIT: I'd like to add that almost every single study BANS ALL supplements and other OTC stuff, not just SJW. But SJW not only potentiates that enzyme, it was also suspected to be a mild MAOI, and in the past was thought to be a mild SI, though now it's serotonin effects are thought to act differently. It can be a VERY helpful supplement for a number of symptoms for some people, especially depression, but I think it has a pretty decent half life, so you may want to look into that before starting a study, if you make use of it.
