I just moved to California and applied for an ID card but won't receive it in mail in time for the screening, however they give a temporary paper that proofs residency. Is this good enough, along with an out of state photo ID?

I would think so, please let us know when you find out. I myself can advise ways around it in Kansas and Arizona for those interested. Feel free to text me.

Tony (406)202-1651 Thanks for that info, but I didnt know any places in Kansas or AZ required a local ID? The only places I was sure of were 2 in Cali, and Prism. Precisionclear, your screening wont be 2 weeks after you applied for your ID? You really were eager to do a study as soon as you got there, heh?

Eager, yes. My last study got canceled 2 days before check-in, and this would have been a nice way to make up for lost time.

Hi Puntkicker,
Quintiles and Vince will limit out-of-towners to studies with no opv's. My Missouri I.D. fixed that and also covers me for Celerion in Lincoln (if necessary). Friends have confirmed that Celerion in AZ don't care, but I've seen rules change before and I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. Good luck to you, and Precision too!

In to get a CA ID, you need a pay stub and an address. So, if you've got a pay stub from a previous study and a friend/relative willing to write you a rent receipt, this may just fly...
