Hey all, relatively new to the world of clinical research trials. Have only completed one study, was for 6500 about 9 months ago. Recently decided to try for a 2nd study so went to in New Haven. Said they would call in 5 days to give me info on the 2nd screening. Never got the call, called them today and they directed me to program coordinator so i left a message.
So, if you don't pass a screening for whatever reason do they notify you, or is no notification given?

Which study is this that they ask for two screenings? They called me back the very next day to ask when I could start. Really fast processing system. I really don't know what happens if you don't pass. I find it doubtful they'd call every last person who didn't pass.

different places have different procedures. most places either call you, or tell you when to call. they also say "if you havent heard from us by __, give us a call." calling is better than not calling. always call before driving to a screening far away. i have made wasted trips to nj and n dakota when studies were cancelled and they didn't bother to tell me. some places give you an exact time to call in and it's a fight to see whose call gets answered first and gets in.
