Anyone know if any clinics are now requiring volunteers to have gotten the Covid shot?
It seems that if they do require it, then they will probably ask that a person have had it a few months back. It seems that the research staff might think that there could be "cross-mixing" of medications for anyone who has recently gotten the shot.
I recall that I once was told by a clinic that in to participate in the study I should not have had a flu shot.
Late last year and also in April of this year I participated in a studies in which I was not supposed to have had the Covid shot.
So, maybe clinics rather have it that applicants not have been vaccinated with the Covid shot?
Will clinics eventually have to require that volunteers be vaccinated though?
Anyone know?

I haven't heard of any vax requirements to get into a study. I was in Covance when I got mine and reported it and they were fine with it...however that was many OPVs in a long study and there was a 30 day pre and post no vax requirement I do believe on that study which can be common for most. Others clinics i've mentioned it and had no push back, nor did they request it. But I don't think they will require it...but personally I'd rather see them to that then steer us away from it...which is a ridiculous thing to do as we are still lagging behind on vaccination rates and it would help curb any spread in the clinics themselves.
