Hello there fellow Lab Rats,
My name is Andres and I have done a couple research studies with PPD and Novum in the Las Vegas, NV area. Ever since I've been doing research studies, I have been getting more and more interested in doing these research studies to build up my savings to pay off all my debts as well as be able to up my very own art gallery in the Las Vegas arts district.
Anyway, I seem to be having issues with my EKG readings where my QTRC readings are slightly over the cutoff of 450 (sometimes it averages out to right at 450 - 453). I have tried various ods like not being stressed out, thinking happy thoughts or even fantasizing about a girl that I am seeing and sleeping with (if that ever happens HAR HAR HAR), and even tried getting enough sleep and still I get readings that are over the cutoff rate. I have even recently started hitting the gym on the daily doing weightlifting as well as jump-roping in between my weightlifting sessions.
At PPD, my EKG readings don't seem to be a big deal but at NOVUM (for the first 2 times I tried screening) it was a big deal to get my disqualified until recently they approved me for an opiate study I am currently in. NOVUM even suggested that I get a doctors note from the cardiologist about this issue to clear me for studies at NOVUM and other CROs in general.
My question is, has anyone ever had this issue and how do you overcome this stupid woe so that you can get paid that money?
