questions about Outpatient tests

New to this business-- I quit smoking to screen for and do the inpatient part of a recent study, which now has a few Outpatient follow-up visits. 

I'm curious if I will be urine-tested (for drugs and ciggs, as I was in the screening) during these outpatient visits? In case I slip up and smoke one-- will I be caught and/or banned? Any experience of knowledge about this would be appreciated

It really depends on the study, read the consent thoroughly, when in doubt ask other subjects or a freindly staff member
