I've had bline Hemoglobin levels for years now. It usually ranges around the 14.0 mark. After a study it will drop to around 13.5 or so. What can I do to get it up between studies?? I've tried taking iron supplements along with vitamin b-12 but dont seem to be seeing much improvements. I dont eat as healthy as I should since I seem to always be on the go. I am just trying to see what some other people are doing/ have done to keep their blood levels up.

You already know how to fix this. Eat healthy food rich in iron! There is no shortcut. If you eat at McDonald's or KFC every day, your Hemoglobin level will stay low and all the people on this board will be happy to see you rejected from studies, more available spots for us. Eat lots of green vegetables, red meat, cereals (with iron) and chicken. No need for supplements, it doesn't work most of the time.

I've heard that taking Vitamin C at the same time as the iron helps ernomously. And I've heard that some B vitamins taken with the iron don't help.
And there are different types of iron supplements, and they're not all equal in terms of bioavailability/absorbability. (In other words, no matter how much you take, it'll just go through system unabsorbed.) The best is supposed to be chelated iron. But please dont' take my word for it. Do your own research.
