I just tried my first screening at ICON, and they have VCT.
For those that don't know VCT is a service/data base some clinics use to see if people are doing multiple studies at once or lying about wash out dates. I mainly do PPD with WCT as my off month place and I'm looking to turn ICON into my off month location as I'm tired of WCT's shitty facility's and food. Neither uses VCT, for now at least, so I'm ok with this at the moment. But for others who are looking to travel and are already in one clinics VCT list, be aware.

WCT have now started using the VCT system. So I suggest, if you've done either a WCT or Icon study, go somewhere else and wait for your wash out and then try either one. It seems like Icon and WCT are linked to the same system. You're best bet is to go to PPD or somewhere else after doing any of the San Antonio clinics within a 30 day period.

HOW DO WE KNOW IF A STUDY FACILITY IS USING VCT OR NOT? AND DOES THIS MEAN IF I JUST FINISHED DOING A STUDY AT NOVUM THEN ICON WOULD KNOW BECAUSE THEY ARE USING THE VCT?

I'm pretty sure for any study you do that the clinic is using VCT, it is one of the forms that you have to read and sign during screening, yes?

yes, mike. i was in lincoln today and signed the form at celerion. icon in nebraska and celerion always used vct (or soing else before that), but i've never been to the texas icon so i dont know if this is new.

ICON uses VCT for all studies. WCT is no longer using VCT for current studies.

i have a screening tomorrow at icon (san antonio). my last participation was nov7 at covance(dallas). will Icon know?

I can confirm as of 11/10/21 Icon in San Antonio is using VCT along with WWCT in San Antonio. I was sitting in the waiting room at 7 am when I overheard another participant get denied into a screening because they were still in the database for WWCT San Antonio.
I had to sign papers/give a fingerprint at the beginning of screening at ICON San Antonio 11/10/21.
