The Beth Iael Deaconess Medical Center is looking for healthy participants without psychiatric or medical conditions, ages 18-45 who are interested in participating in a study on the effects of repeated exposure to insomnia symptoms. The study investigates the relationship between insomnia symptoms, inflammation, and your own eption of mood and pain. This study potentially involves staying in the laboratory for two 18-day periods where you experience intermittent episodes of insomnia symptoms on some of the days. During the 18-day stays, internet and gym access are available, visitors are welcome, and there will be time for reading, working from your room, or other activities. Participants can be run in pairs, so apply with a friend. Payment for the study including screenings (2 visits), the two 18-day hospital stays, and a follow-up visit will be provided.
