I heard that Covance is going to using VCT soon. A friend of a friend said the asked him to sign a VCT form while screening at Dallas Covance.

I heard that Covance is going to using VCT soon. A friend of a friend said the asked him to sign a VCT form while screening at Dallas Covance. I know why they immediately made this decision. I know the person who prompted this. This person that I recently met at a screening at Spaulding claims that she's being doing the labrat game for a few years. She checked into a study with Pharma Medica Research. She had also done a study previously with Covance Madison. Her last opvher with Covance had overlapped her in stay period with PMR... she didn't know how to get out of one to fulfil the other. She ended up telling Covance that she was in another study (at PMR). The study coordinator at Covance decided that she will be barred and PMR withdrew her from the current study. This all happened last week. So I think her incident prompted Covance to implement vct. I asked her why she did that because it not only messes it up for her, she messes it up for others too. I was so irritated by her actions and told her how I felt. She hasn't contacted me for a couple days but she knew she f*cked up. If you've been in the game long enough, you know perfectly well you don't volunteer such information. That was so dumb on her part!!! |

IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED IN MADISON WISCONSIN THEY ARE IN FACT USING IT AND NOT TELLING YOU AND ARE DENYING OR NOT ANSWERING WHEN ASKED SO I RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET THE WORD OUT THAT COVANCE IS ON VCT

Can someone confirm if Covance is using vct? The person who started this rumor posts nothing but misinformation & hysteria on this forum. I don't know why there's no pushback. Anyway, ignore him. |

Well if you're thinking about jumping from Spaulding straight to Covance, I'd think twice.
Spaulding uses LabCorp to process some of their labs. I have seen a LabCorp transit vehicle on their property several times recently.
and guess who Covance is owned by....
Yup... LabCorp!
If you want to be a lifetime rat, just do your 30 day wash and find other gigs in between studies, like house cleaning or being an Uber driver.

I am new to Phase 1 clinical trials so I am trying to learn as much as I can .

A little about me: I am just getting started in clinical trials . Became unemployed and was doing small outpatient studies until someone told me about Covance and it has ed up a new world of making money.
So I am trying to do more inpatient studies and am hoping to do even more next year.

Well if you're thinking about jumping from Spaulding straight to Covance, I'd think twice. Spaulding uses LabCorp to process some of their labs. I have seen a LabCorp transit vehicle on their property several times recently. and guess who Covance is owned by.... Yup... LabCorp! Hi, I'm just letting you know your message didnt come out. I'm kind of new here so I dont remember if the board notifies you if someone quotes your or not, but I figured I'd try anyhow. For anyone else, is this LabCorp involved with anyone else besides Spaulding and Covance that we should know about? |
