Covance Dallas, what its like now

I was wary about screening for Covance Dallas. On three occasions they jerked me around in 2014. On three occasions I screened, but got the "your labs are good, but the study is full!" three times in a row. I didnt expect to get in and was considering bailing out. I screened on a Monday, check in Thursday. I thought there was no chance at such short notice. Thankfully I was wrong. As it turns out, five or six other people bailed on the same day i was screening on; so I was the ONLY person who showed up on that day to screen for this group.

So instead of moving to a new facility, they have moved to a new floor. Huge improvement. More TVs. A computer room. Quiet room. Temperature control is a little better. Rooms are big dorm style rooms now. If youre by the window in the winter, it can cold. Each nightstand has a lock on it. Fresh towels daily. Outlet by each bed.

Rather than having an outside company do laundry like they used to, You now do your own laundry. Soap and dryer sheets are provided.

NEW RULES! IMPORTANT!!!!!!

Incoming mail is no longer accepted.
50 dollar dock each late. No warning.
Covance is not VCT, whoever started that rumor is full of ****.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated!!   I have some quick questions if you don't mind.  How many people are in each dorm room?  The locks on the bedstand sound great.  Are they the kind you set with a number combination?  

Thanks again for your contribution, I really appreciate threads like this and hope to do my share.  I'm headed for a screening there shortly.  I'm hoping I don't get lynched at night for my snoring by the angry masses in these large dorm rooms though...seriously, it will be my first time and I'm worried.  

Oh...I also have a quick question being I've read generic warnings for all places on here.  Being most cell phones have cameras these days, do they ban them or place some sort of tamper-proof tape over them as I think I read about in the overview?
