I heard that they do that 10k for 40 days study every year starting in October (or at least they start screening in October). I'm going to call twice a day starting October 1st.

I went to my screening for the $7,200 study in Evansville but a week later I got into a study somewhere else. Today I got a call from their screening department saying I was termed from the study because they did this genetic test that said my body metabolism is too slow. They ed up more screening dates for the study because apparently not many made appointments and those that did had the same issue as I had. I think they are going to cancel this one as their criteria is so strict that it's going to take forever to find people who will qualify. Plus they have an eye and skin screening. The past year they've been paying less and less for their studies and making it more and more difficult to qualify. Covance is becoming like PPD it terms of difficulty to get in.

If you have blood in your urine does that mean that you will have blood in your stool???Does anyone know if cranberry juice will get rid of blood in your stool as well. I have a take home stool test as part of screening for another study.

Don't give up on the 9k study. Somebody might cancel their screening appointment and you can still get a screening. When are the screening dates? I would start to call the day before screening and everyday afterwards until you get a screening. But don't screen on the last day. PPD is notorious about canceling the last day of screening! What is the study number? How many are they checking in? How many are dosing? What are the dates? How many outpatient visits?

I do better lying down when taking my blood pressure. Probably because these places are so disorganized and unprofessional. Does Quintiles make you sit or lay down for blood pressure? Are they picky about labs?

We need to work together and complaint about them. Write letters to the local BBB and to the national IRB! Write levels to the client about their unethical practices.
