Chances are if Megabus is delayed or cancelled due to weather, Greyhound will be as well. The only difference is on Megabus, you have a tent to stand under and at a Greyhound station, at least your inside. Depending on where you are going and the fare, consider ing a ticket on each.

I thought we'd be cloned like in The Island and one day my clone would become self aware and escape

It's kinda like washing hands. If everyone doesn't do it, then it's not as effective. Unless all of the clinics do VCT, then it's not going to do the best job. Do I support it? Well, as the rules are, yes. If the rules were different (ie less washout), then of course I'd reconsider.

Sorry about the delay but the problem has been eliminated. Well, at least from this board anyways

There's a hill across from PPD that would be perfect for a lab rat statue!

It runs in cycles. But anytime you have long groups in house, people are gonna get stir crazy. Not everyone can handle doing hard time!

I've never have had any issues with the food or linens but bug infestations can happen anywhere.

thanks, i appreciate the travel info! i usually take buses or trains and sometimes it is soooo hard to figure out the stops, how far it really is to walk, etc. etc. I have taken public transit to the clinic from the Metra stations as well as walking from the Prarie Crossing station, nice in the summer but not in the winter. I recently updated the travel info at the end of December to reflect the cab service available as well as the Pace bus. The bus lets off less than a 5 minute walk but there are no sidewalks or crosswalks.

every clinic has it's characters but PPD is a high volume clinic and not a lot of space to move around when it's packed. My best suggestion is to bring ear plugs, a laptop, ipad or the very least an mp3 player and spend as much time away from the masses as possible, though not always possible. in the end, it's only for a finite period of time so I think its worth the inconvience for that $$$

I agree with the bio studies. i know several people limited to those studies and that just adds to the chaos that is the phone line. they used to release the studies on fridays but now they get more short notice studies so they have to release it as soon as it is approved. they have a text message line set up though i haven't got one. honestly, even for the size of the clinic, i think things are handled fairly well.

Well, I'm glad ya'll enjoy the site. yeah, the internet... thats an issue at most clinics it seems. but save yourself the aggravation and get clear or sprint 4g. incidentally, i have both. though i've heard that 4g doesn't work at quintiles, perhaps they fixed that by now.

Yeah, sorry everyone. Actually the board had been busted for over a year. I was able to fix it occasionaly but I gave up. This board should be much more stable, has more flexibility and should be more effective.
