i'm there most of december. they have plenty more studies coming up. our study is "eat everything", other than that it's a easy study, nice people, decent money. in the middle of a pandemic, i'm actually having a better than average year money wise.
"Spaulding Clinical is currently looking for healthy male and female volunteers between the ages of 18 and 60, who have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18 and 25 and weigh at least 121 lbs. to participate in a research study consisting of 1 in-house stay, lasting 18-33 days (17-32 nights) in West Bend, Wisconsin.
Those who qualify and complete the study may be eligible to receive payment of up to $6,355 to $11,605 for study related time and travel."
they paid me $100 to screen, less than it cost me to come screen, but better than nothing. as always, if you use me as your referrer, i'll split the referral fee with you. no takers so far.
december 22 update: was an easy study. going home soon. they still have lots of studies, pretty good pay.

the sites that have vct have a seperate consent form for it. sometimes they scan your fingerprint right when you walk in. there's a thread that lists which places use it, no idea if it's up to date.

i would not expect a long term ban. you get it, you get over it or die. the clinics seem to have covid protection plans in place by now.

earplugs and an eyemask are a good idea at any clinic. i had no problems with having cash there. i misplaced a computer while i was there, asked them to look for it, and never heard anything back.

>I dont want to say name in case they are monitoring this site which i have heard that clinics ARE monitoring this site.
Assume that to be true. I think it's one of the reasons traffic on this site has fallen over the years.
It wouldn't occur to me to take cbd because i never take anything, but i guess thc is all they test for so cbd wouldn't show up? maybe i'll experiment with the epsom salts approach.

sorry i didnt see this earlier. i don't check here too often. you need two things pronto, a doctor and a lawyer. you got good advice from travelingrat to contact the irb etc. do that. explain that you are being neglected by the clinic and the sponsor, dont have insurance, urgently need care but can't afford treatment. they might ignore you, but they might hook you up. also contact the fda. there are two reasons you need a doctor right now. 1, for treatment, 2, for evidence. be upfront with the doc that you can't pay a bill right now but they can submit a claim to the clinic and sponsor and you agree the bill is a lien on the proceeds of any lawsuit. next, get a lawyer. i cannot promise you anything. but these are the kind of cases that interest personal injury lawfirms. tell them you are referred by arbitrary aardvark, an out of state lawyer who can't take the case himself. a lawyer may be able to help persuade them that they need to start providing you with quality medical care. and there might or might not be a payday at some far future date. document everything. feel free to contact me at gtbear at gmail. i can't represent you; i'm not competent and not licensed in your state. but i might be able to help some, slightly.

Seems like they did a good job, any changes in the rooming situation? It was 1 per bunk with plexiglass barriers, but 5 of us in a barracks like room, and one guy stirred up trouble and i got blamed for it, and they wouldn't let me change to another room that they weren't using at all, so i might be on their **** list now. so i made decent money but have no plans to go back.

I checked into a study this morning and my blood pressure was out of range. They'll check it again in the morning and I'll either dose or not dose.
They say it's likely because I didn't get enough sleep.
edit: i did the study but will need a doctor's note to come back because my blood pressure remained high.

i might find out today if i got into a 4 day 2k study. screening went fine, the phone call, the online consent, and the full screening tuesday. my one problem was that it took 10 calls over two weeks for somebody to pick up the phone. my phone messages and emails didnt get answered.
edit: got in. study went fine. nice place. my BP is running high so i barely got in. they bumped the pay up a little.
